MARY ANN McCAFFERTY (nee Moran), age 90, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Sunday, December 8, 2019, surrounded by her beloved family. She was met by her husband Thomas and daughter Margaret Ann, her parents Thomas and Celia (Gallagher) Moran, and her siblings Thomas, Michael, John, Celia, Martha, Margaret, Patrick, Joseph, James, Brendan, and Dominick.

Mary Ann was born on March 21, 1929 in Currane, County Mayo, Ireland. She came to Cleveland, Ohio in 1950 where she lived a full and rich life raising her family, honoring her Irish heritage, and celebrating her Catholic faith.

She was dearly loved and cherished by those she left behind, and will especially be missed by her children: Catherine Russ (Paul), Thomas (Leslie), Mary Kander (Jim), Brendan, Patrick (Erin), and Ann Slaughter (John). Mary Ann is also survived by 15 grandchildren who loved her immensely: Anne (Eamon), Beth (Bill), Katie (Matt), Lauren, Colin, Christina, Claire, Julia, Garrett, Eileen, Michael, Kelly, Shannon, Allison, and Mairead; and three great-grandchildren, Gretchen, Ryan, and Sabine; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, December 14, The Church of St. Clarence (30106 Lorain Road, North Olmsted, 44070) at 10 A.M. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS RD., FRIDAY 3-7 P.M.
