MARY TERESE BLAHA (nee Kahl), age 78. Beloved wife of George R.; loving mother of Karen Kalis (Chris) of Dallas, TX, George V. (Lora), Jane Vitou (Jim), Anne Watson (Michael) of Houston, TX and Ellen Minerd (Brian); grandmother of 15; daughter of the late Margaret (nee Wallenhorst) and John J. Kahl, Sr.; sister of John J. "Jack" Kahl (Sherry), James (deceased) (Alice), Coletta Mulloy (Jack), Marguerite "Margie" Forshey (Jim) and Joseph Kahl (deceased) (Joanne); sister-in-law of Margaret "Bubbles" Kahl; aunt and great aunt of many. Terese "Sweet T" Blaha was always teaching. First as a nurse, then as a mother and grandmother, she taught by example. A kind, gentle person, she did not have to be the loudest in the room, but her strong sense of self and the respect with which she treated others always made her stand out. In her final years as Alzheimers took over, she retained her dignity and was always beautiful inside and out.  Passed away December 14, 2017. Funeral Mass Monday, December 18, St. Christopher Church (20141 Detroit Rd., Rocky River) at 11 A.M. WHERE FRIENDS MAY CALL MONDAY 9:30 A.M. UNTIL TIME OF MASS. Interment Lakewood Park Cemetery.
