MARY ANN DOBSON (nee Hughes), age 66, went home to the Lord, on Friday July 2, 2010 surrounded by her loving family at her home in Cleveland, Ohio. Mary Ann was born June 28, 1944 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Hughes. She and James Albert Dobson were united in marriage May 27, 1972 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mary Ann graduated form St. Joseph Academy in 1962 and graduated from Ursuline College in 1966 with a BA. She joined the American Red Cross to serve in Vietnam in 1968-1969, and she worked for Air France from 1971-1972. She home schooled her four children, founded the 24 hour Perpetual Adoration Chapel at Our Lady of Angels Church in Cleveland, Ohio with the blessing of Pastor Fr. John J. Cregan, and earned her Nursing License from Cuyahoga Community College in 2007. To cherish her memory, Mary Ann leaves her husband of 38 years, James, four children, Monica, Matthew, Helen, and Bernadette, and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Mass Thursday July 8, Our Lady of Angels Church (3644 Rocky River Dr.) at 10 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
