Mary R. Hart (Nee Laneve) age 98, passed away at home on Friday, December 13, 2013. She was born in Newell, W.Va., on November 10, 1915 and was a daughter of the late Carmen J. and Eleanorea S. Pranno Laneve. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Robert and mother of the late Bruce; sister of Rosemarie Orlando (Rocco), and Florence, sister-in-law to Lewis Eskra and Peggy. Mary is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mary was resident of Berea and successful owner and operator of Mary Hart Nursery School for nearly 60 years. She was a generous and dedicated member of St. Mary's of Berea Catholic Church and served thousands of hours as a volunteer at Southwest General Hospital. She was chosen Citizen of the Year and the 24th recipient of the Grindstone Award in 1990 by the city of Berea. Preceding her in death were three brothers, Anthony, Richard and Arthur Laneve, and six sisters, Louise Laneve, Theresa Golletti, Ernesta Moore, Josephine Ulizio, Helen Eskra and Virginia Misorski. Mary was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, Godmother,and friend to many. Funeral Mass Tuesday December 17, 2013 St. Mary Church Berea (250 Kraft St.) at 10 AM.
