MARY A. HAYES (nee O'Donnell), age 85.  Beloved wife of the late John; loving mother of Bill (Cheri, nee Gura), Mike (Joan, nee Phalen), John (Marilyn, nee Lapp), Pat (Sharon, nee Mog), Jim (Lucy, nee Horan) and Kevin (Jodi, nee Murphy); grandmother of Brigid, Tim, Patrick, Kelsey, Sean, Collin, Kelly, Brigid, Dean, Meghan, John and Darcy Hayes; great-grandmother of Mairead, Aoife and Emmet Kimbrell; sister of James O'Donnell (Mary Alice) (both deceased), Michael O'Donnell (Dot), Catherine Leneghan (Frank) and Julie Ohman (Gerry); aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend of many.  Mary was a proud graduate of Ursuline College where she obtained a degree in chemistry and became a longtime Montessori educator.  She was past president of the St. Edward High School Mother's Club, a longtime active member of the West Side Irish American Club where she was honored as the 1992 Woman of the Year, and was selected in 2003 as the United Irish Societies Mother of the Year for the Cleveland St. Patrick's Day Parade.  Passed away October 11, 2019.  Funeral Mass Wednesday, October 16, St. Mary of the Falls Church (25615 Bagley Rd., Olmsted Falls) at 10 A.M.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.  Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD.
