MARY LOU McCARTHY (nee Jackson) passed away on September 1, 2025 at the age of 94. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. McCarthy. She was an amazing mother to Kevin (Jenifer), Ellen and Patrick (Christine), spending hundreds of hours at wrestling practices, tournaments, dual meets as well as tennis, swimming and golf matches. She also spent way too much time concealing from their father the mischief created by her beloved children. She was a fabulous grandmother to Kelly Ferring (Will), Ryan and Katie, and was thankful to be able to meet her great-grandchildren, Emma and Cameron Ferring. She was devoted to her faith, her many poodles and the Cleveland Indians. Funeral services will be private.
