IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary Ann
Perry
August 17, 1945 – May 19, 2025
MARY ANN PERRY (née Trojanowski), age 79, passed away on May 19, 2025. Beloved wife of 53 years to Roger B. Perry; loving mother of Christina Perry (Yogi Patel) and Brandon Perry (Eva); cherished Grandma of Justin, Ryan, and Mira.
Mary Ann was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, remembered for her boundless compassion and unmistakable sense of humor. She wrapped others in kindness the way she wrapped up in her favorite red and blue blanket—warm, familiar, and always ready to comfort. She was endlessly giving, endlessly caring, and the kind of person who showed up when it mattered most.
Her children will always remember her as their greatest supporter, best counselor, and safest place. Her guidance came with wisdom, her advice with love, and even when there was disagreement, her support never wavered.
Beneath her deep compassion was a playful, silly spirit that brought laughter to every room she entered. She had a gift for making people laugh—whether through a goofy voice, a made-up phrase, or simply her infectious joy in life. She made even the ordinary feel like something worth celebrating.
Mary Ann proudly graduated Cum Laude in 1967 from the University of Dayton, and went on to teach first grade for many years at Parkknoll and Riveredge Schools in Berea, where she touched countless young lives with her warmth and patience. She also taught those closest to her how to love deeply, laugh loudly, live generously, and treat others with unwavering kindness. Her legacy lives on in everyone who had the joy of knowing her.
She was a devoted Catholic whose faith was a steady guide in her life. She lived her beliefs through kindness, service, and gentle grace—and her faith gave her strength, comfort, and a deep sense of life's purpose. She was always one with God.
She will be deeply missed, but her memory lives on in every smile shared, every kind act extended, and every belly laugh sparked by a moment of joyful silliness.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 23 at 11:30 A.M. at St. Adalbert Church (Berea). Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of BEREA, 86 ADALBERT ST. OFF FRONT ST. (located in the Polish Village Historic District), on THURSDAY FROM 4-7 P.M.
