MARY RUTH MILLNER, age 93. Beloved daughter of the late Lela (nee Moss) and A.R. “Pete” Millner; loving sister of the late LeRoy (Joanne), Walker (Joyce Ann), Robert (Darlene); dear aunt of Reed (Patricia), Mary Louise, Walker (deceased) (Patricia), William (Leigh), Michael (Marilla), David (Patti) and Pamela Allison (Leonard); and great aunt of many.

A cherished music educator and beloved friend to many, Mary Ruth dedicated her life to teaching music in California, where she inspired countless students to explore the magic of melody and harmony. She pursued her own education studying music around the world, allowing her to bring a rich tapestry of musical styles and traditions to San Mateo City Schools.

Passed away December 31, 2025. A private family celebration of her life will be held at a later date in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
