MAUREEN DIVER (née Barrett), age 82, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she is survived by her husband Donald, daughter Mary Cominsky (Mark) and grandchildren Noah, Grace (Katelyn), and Luke. She was born on August 31, 1942, to Edward and Ruth Barrett (née Conrad). The oldest of six, she was a caring sister to her five siblings: Sheila Minissale (Anthony), Anne Marie Chylik (Michael) Jerome (Sheila), Patrick, and Jean.

Perhaps a symbol of her talent as a quilter, her life was a beautiful collection of people, passions, and, of course, patterns. An active member of her community, she previously served as a member of the North Olmsted City Board of Zoning Appeals and was the longtime Recording Secretary of the North Olmsted Democratic Club, culminating in her recognition as "Democrat of the Year" in 2017. Gifted in the kitchen, an avid cinephile, and a proud Disney Vacation Club member, Maureen could often be found sharing her interests with those she loved. Though holidays and gatherings will not be the same without her infamous chocolate-chip cookies or keen eye for gift-giving, her family rests easy knowing she's found eternal peace, lifted by the lifetime of memories shared.
