Maureen T. Gerrity (née Patton), 65, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, in Naples, Florida. A devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, Maureen's life was marked by compassion, dedication, and a joyful spirit that touched all who knew her.
Born on March 4, 1960, in Cleveland, Ohio, Maureen grew up surrounded by a large and loving family. Her early years in Cleveland laid the foundation for a life of service and creativity. She pursued a career in healthcare with unwavering commitment, working as a Physician Assistant at both the Cleveland Clinic and the David Lawrence Center. In these roles, she brought not only clinical expertise but also deep empathy to her patients and colleagues alike.
Maureen was a devout Catholic whose faith guided her throughout her life. Her spiritual devotion was evident in her daily actions—through kindness extended to others and the strength with which she faced life’s challenges.
Outside of her professional life, Maureen found joy in artistic expression and nature. A talented and award-winning artist and passionate gardener, she cultivated beauty both on canvas and in the soil. Whether painting or tending to her garden, she embraced creativity with the same warmth that defined her relationships.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband Kevin; daughters Emily (Ryan), Elizabeth, and Charlotte; son Kevin; mother Martha, brothers Marty (Kathy), Richard (Karen), John (Tracie), Bernard (Jeannette), Michael, Patrick, and Joseph; and sister Katy Corrigan (Patrick). She was preceded in death by her father Bernard, brother Timothy and sister HelenWalsh (James).
Maureen’s legacy lives on through the many lives she touched—with healing hands as a medical professional and an open heart as a beloved family member. Her memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
