Melissa Bondi, of North Olmsted, Ohio, departed this life on 5 February, 2020. A devoted mother and loving sister, she is survived by her only child, Melissa M. Bondi of Arlington VA, and her sister Gretchen M. Ginder of Elkton, MD.

Now at peace, she joins her beloved parents, Tom E. McVay and Wanda S. McVay, and her cherished siblings Rebecca E. McVay, Timothy J. McVay (Denisa), and Jonathan T. McVay (Karen.) Melissa was the proud aunt and great-aunt to Natalie M. Zellers (Jim), Stanton W. McVay (Lydia), Rebecca M. Poling (Leon), Shawn T. McVay, and Bevin M. Kiser, and all of their children.

A native of Mansfield, Ohio, Melissa lived the majority of her life in Northeast Ohio. She graduated from Herbert Hoover High School in Clendenin, WV in 1964, and began her career in Arlington, VA, moving to Erie PA and Tampa, FL before settling in North Olmsted. She retired following a successful career at the Central Intelligence Agency, Bay West Services, National City Bank, and PNC Inc. She was a longtime parishioner at St. Richard's parish in North Olmsted. She had many interests and friends who were in her thoughts and heart in her final days.

At Melissa's request, private memorial arrangements were made for immediate family. Those wishing to make contributions in her name may do so to charities she supported in her life, including American Veterans (AMVETS), the ASPCA, or St Richard Parish in North Olmsted, OH.
