IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael Ryan
Davis
September 4, 1973 – January 16, 2024
MICHAEL RYAN DAVIS, loving father and partner, passed away on Tuesday, January 16th at age 50 surrounded by friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his father Michael Charles Davis. He is survived and remembered by his loving girlfriend, Brenda Scanlan and her family; daughter Mollie Ann Lolli and her husband Tony; son Michael Alexander Davis; mother Mary Ann Davis; sister Ann Lombard; Aunt Franny (Francine) Davis; his best friend of 35 years Brian Summers; beloved pets Poppins and Winter, and many close childhood friends.
Mike was born in Florissant, Missouri on September 4th, 1973. He attended St. Pius X High School in Festus, Missouri, and graduated in 1992. He studied one semester at Southwest Missouri State University, and completed several art courses at Cuyahoga Community College.
Mike spent nearly twenty-five years in service at UPS, and was beloved by many of his co-workers. However, his true passions were in his artwork, which he would craft from the depths of his soul and bring to life for all to see, and included dozens of multi-media paintings that offered a look into his inner self. He was also a passionate photographer, striving to capture all of life's moments, from the good to the bad. He held a very abstract view of the world that poured out of him and into his art.
Mike had a big heart and a unique sense of humor, always placing the happiness of his loved ones over his own. He was an avid lover of tabletop and video games, as well as gardening, spending much of his time tending to his wide variety of plants and creating cherished memories with those he held dear. He also had a special bond with his dog Poppins who proved to be the only dog to steal his heart.
