MICHAEL F. FOSTER

MICHAEL "MICK" F. FOSTER, born on January 12, 1952, entered into eternal rest on September 18, 2026 at the age of 74. He was the beloved husband of the late Eileen (Bacon); son of Jacob R. and Therese M. Foster (both deceased); brother of Robert A. Foster (Etta), Steven C. Foster (Cindy), Susan L. Lisbon (Russell) and James C. Foster (Karen); brother-in-law of Terry Bacon (deceased) and Jennie Bacon (Andy Lamb); loving and jolly uncle of Heather Leija, Craig Foster, Ryan Foster (Juliet), Jesse Bacon (Karolina), Stephanie Foster, Brian Lisbon, Noah (Brittany) Lisbon, Connor Foster and Ian Foster; great uncle of Amber and James Leija, Drew and Brock Foster, Cole and Sasha Foster and Aoife and Sasha Bacon.

Mick was a graduate of St. Edward High School and attended Kent State University. He was a long time resident of Lakewood, Ohio and loved living there. He was a retail store manager at US Merchandise where he met his future wife, Eileen. They were a match right from the start. Mick continued his life in retail management until his last position at GFS in North Olmsted. He was a hard worker who worked everyday until he couldn't work anymore. Mick was a golf addict. He loved to play every chance he got especially with his father, always seeking to better his game. He loved all sports. The Browns, Cavaliers and Guardians kept him busy year round. Mick loved hunting at resale shops, always wheeling and dealing for items to satisfy his somewhat quirky tastes. He loved old movies and the History Channel and was always spouting little known facts to the delight and surprise of others. 

The family would like to thank the caregivers at Otterbein (Emerald Village) and Crocker Pointe for the attention they lavished on Mick.

Graveside Service Friday, October 9, 2026, at 2:45 P.M., Holy Cross Cemetery (14609 Brookpark Rd., Brook Park) (PLEASE MEET AT BELL TOWER INSIDE FRONT GATE).  In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to The American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
