MICHAEL HUGNEY, age 57. Beloved husband of Debbie (nee Barnhart); loving father of Jonathan; stepfather of Donald Barnhart and Mary Barnhart; grandfather of Kaden and Dylan; son of the late Shirley Smith and Edward Hugney (Mary Surprise); stepson of Patricia Hugney; brother of Thomas (Kerry), Eddie, Jerry, Michelle LaGruth (Joe), Angela Toothman (John), Sharon Spellacy and Cathy; uncle, nephew and cousin of many. Passed away at his home in North Port, FL on May 6, 2014. He grew up in Berea, OH and was a 1975 graduate of Berea High School and was a huge Indians fan. He later moved to Lee's Summit, MO were he lived for 13 years before retiring and moving to Florida. He spent most of his life as a Regional Sales Manager, which allowed him to travel extensively. Michael will be deeply missed by all with his love of family and friends, and his infectious smile that lit up a room when he entered.
