MICHAEL P. GINLEY, age 63. Passed away on 10/8/2022 comforted by the love of family and friends after a valiant battle with cancer. Beloved son of the late Joan P. (nee Zito) and William J. Ginley Jr. The oldest of seven, he was brother to Jim Ginley (Joanne), Patti Donofrio (the late Joe), Kathy Stewart (Tim), Rita Andolsen, Kevin Ginley (Anne), and Dennis Ginley (Nell). Devoted uncle to Tony, Nicole, Nick, Elizabeth, Samantha, Zachary, Owen, Gillian, Hannah, Moira and Lucy.

Recently retired, Mike had a successful career that began at Standard Oil after graduation from Kenyon College, then moved into the college textbook publishing industry. In his second career, he worked in executive recruiting for several small firms in the Cleveland area and founded his own MPG Executive Search business.

His greatest passion was volunteering as a CYO football and track coach at St. Raphael in Bay Village for more than 25 years, leading his junior high-grade teams to five championships. He was recently inducted into the CYO Hall of Fame and in late September was awarded the prestigious Founders' Award from St. Ignatius High School, an honor bestowed on his father 45 years ago. A 1977 graduate of St. Ignatius and 1981 graduate of Kenyon College, Mike was truly "a man for others" and lived his faith and commitment to service every day.

Funeral Mass Thursday, October 13, St. Raphael Church (525 Dover Center Rd. Bay Village, OH) at 10:30 AM. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH .  Mass will be livestreamed at http://tiny.cc/mikeginley Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS WEDNESDAY 4-7 PM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
