MICHAEL RITTER, age 70, beloved husband of the late Frances (nee Struble), loving father of Marjorie Leach (James), Emily Schrull (Mark), Melanie Ritter, Debbi Struble (John) and Diane Struble (Bart); grandfather of Brandon (Crystal), Ayana, Dylan, Jenna, Jordan (Angel), Jakob and Jasmine (Amrit); great-grandfather of Maya; son of Janet (nee Mullner) and the late Doyle; brother of Peggy Adams (Wayne), Dave (deceased), Kathy Groene (Darrel), Jeff (Patti),  Linda, Connie Davis (Tom), Valerie Oustoiny (Zaki) and Monica Ramirez (Joe); uncle of many.  Mike loved being outside soaking up the sun with a cold Steele Reserve. He loved being in the garden that he started every year with his neighbor & good friend, Carol. He loved anything that has to do with the Civil War - Gettysburg, mostly. He could tell you all the details about it. He would have made a great history teacher. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make up his own lyrics to songs on the radio; he was really into music. He loved his daughters. All 5 of them. "Step" daughter was never a thing to him. He loved his grandchildren/great grandchild even more. He will be missed beyond measure.  Passed away February 2, 2024.  Funeral Service Monday, February 12, at 6 P.M. in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS RD., where friends may call MONDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 4 P.M. UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE.
