MILDRED E. KUSHNER (nee Jurkovich) was born on September 15, 1922 in Cambridge and left this earth on July 3, 2024 at the age of 101. She was the daughter of Stephan and Mary Jurkovich.

Millie is survived by her daughters Judy Marinko (Ron) and Gloria Kimak (Tom), and son David (Debi); grandchildren Bob Marinko (Heather), Jennifer Dundr (Khrys), Stephanie Kimak, Meredith Crawley (Ryan), David Kushner (Lissett), Michael Kushner (Racquel), Kimberly Jenkins (Jonathan), and Megan Lallemand (Troy); great-grandchildren Gavyn Dundr, Jayden Dundr, Audrey Marinko, Jack Jenkins, Maren Crawley, Millie Jenkins, Olivia Jenkins and Blakely Lallemand; sisters Ruth Saporito and Dorothy Obsuszt and brother Sam Jurkovich; several in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Millie was preceded in death by her husband William (Bill), brothers Steve Jurkovich, John Jurkovich, Dan Jurkovich, Paul Jurkovich, and sisters Mary Voytko, Bessie Voytko, Ann Vargo, Olga Petrenko, Lydia Albin.

Millie and Bill met at church in Byesville Ohio. They were married on January 11, 1947 in a double-ring ceremony and enjoyed 61 years together. Millie's family was the primary focus of her entire life but she was also an amazing seamstress and a phenomenal cook and baker - best known for her pirogies and donuts! In her later years she developed a love of reading and enjoyed going to book sales to make sure she had plenty of bargain books to read! She also spent countless hours cross-stitching pictures or tablecloths for every member of the family. And she enjoyed playing games with her family - especially Skip-Bo and Bingo. She was a member of St Paul Lutheran Church, Westlake Ohio.

Funeral Service Tuesday, July 9, St. Paul Lutheran Church (27993 Detroit Rd. Westlake, OH) at 11:00 AM. Where friends may call 10 AM. until time of service. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery.
