MINERVA Y. SCHULTZ (nee Yurek) age 85. Originally from Glen Lyon, PA passed away March 8, 2016 surrounded by her family. Surviving are her children Wendy A. Petrovic (Richard), Bret M. Schultz Sr., Vicki McCafferty (Owen) and Debbie Dawley (Dale). Her grandchildren Bret M. Schultz Jr. (Kara) and Benjamin Schultz of Houston, TX, Kaetlyn A. Vial (Jack), Owen M. McCafferty Jr., and Derek Schultz-Ormston, all of North Olmsted, and her great-grandchild Jossden Schultz of Houston, TX.

She is proceeded in death by her beloved husband Walter Schultz of Cleveland, her parents Stanley and Frances (nee Sekulski) Yurek of Glen Lyon, PA. Her brothers Edward (Helen) of Costra Contra, CA, Adam Yurek of Glen Lyon, PA, Joseph (Dorothy) of Brunswick, Stanley Yurek Jr. (Joanne) of North Tonawanda, NY, Roman Yurek of Stroudsburg, PA, and Eugene Yurek (Phyllis) of Wisconsin. Her sisters Helen Witucek (Peter) of Cleveland, Elizabeth Salanitri (Salvatore) of Long Island, NY, Celia Huffman (Victor) of Oldsmar, FL, and Josephine Rice (Owen) of Brook Park, OH and her granddaughter Kelsey A. McCafferty of Cleveland.

She graduated in 1948 from Newport High School in Newport Township, PA before moving to Cleveland in 1949 where she met her late husband Walter and raised four wonderful children, grandchildren and a great-grandchild. She was a retired bookkeeper from Leader Electric where she worked for a number of years before retiring in the 1990's. She will be missed by the many whose hearts she touched.

Funeral Mass Tuesday, March 15, Church of St. Clarence (30106 Lorain Rd.) at 10:00 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS MONDAY 3-7 PM.
