MISSEL PRICHARD (nee Workman), age 86, of Cleveland, OH, went home to be with her heavenly Father and beloved husband on July 13, 2011. Born August 15, 1924 in Chapmanville, WV, she was the oldest daughter of the late James and Samantha (nee Bryant). Also preceding her in death was her husband of 43 years, Walter Virgil Prichard (1995); her sister, Roxie Alice Smith; and her brothers, Byrd, Con, Foster, Nathan and Vernon "Hood" Workman, all of Logan, WV. On December 29, 1952, she married Walter in Logan, WV and then relocated to Cleveland, OH where she made her home. Missel was a homemaker, a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a friend of many. She loved her family and God very much. She enjoyed talking on the phone with her family and friends and sitting on her porch. She was a blessing to all who knew her. Those left to cherish her memory forever and who will miss her dearly include her daughter, Teresa Regina and her son, Walter Lee (Tammy), both of Cleveland, OH; her grandchildren, Nicholas Lee and Joseph Walter; her great-grandchild, Madelynn Elizabeth "Maddie"; her sister, Nettie Mae and brother-in-law (who was like a brother to her), Lonnie; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at James Funeral Home, Main Ave., Logan, WV 25601 (304-752-4550). Homegoing Services will be conducted on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 2 P.M. at Mud Fork Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Elbert Collins, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Collins Cemetery in Harts, WV. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Lee Prichard, James Truman "J.T." Smith, Jr., Chad Smith, Rick Meade, Donald Baisden, Jr., and Gary Doss. Honorary Pallbearers will be Lonnie Pritchard and George Smith.
