NICHOLAS R. POPOVICH, M.D., age 89, beloved husband of Geraldine (nee Hirkala) and the late Virginia (nee Vasu); father of Nicholas E. (deceased), Suzanne Adele, Mary Kim Howland (Chris), Timothy G., Christian M. and Kathleen Holtzman (Topher); proud grandfather of eight; great-grandfather of four; beloved brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle of many.  Dr. Popovich was a pediatrician for over 37 years at Fairview Hospital and also in private practice.  U.S.A.F. veteran.  Passed away unexpectedly October 12, 2020.  Relatives and friends are invited to meet for his Funeral Mass Saturday, October 17, St. Bernadette Church (2256 Clague Rd., Westlake) at 10 A.M.  (face masks required) Entombment St. Joseph Cemetery (Avon).
