NORMAN H. DAVIS

NORMAN H. DAVIS, age 95, beloved husband of 23 years to Marlene Bergenstein-Davis and the late Sheila Young Davis; loving father of Lynette Becks (Charles), Judy McClintock (Randy), Keith Davis (Beth) and Stuart Davis (Maria); cherished grandfather of Charles Becks (Joni), Brett Becks (Hawley), Mark Becks, Kyle McClintock (Kristin), Evan McClintock (Maegan) and Leah Davis; great-grandfather of Alexandria, Charles, Derek, John, Lola and Teddy Becks and Maddy, Miles, Max, Riley and Bryson McClintock; dear brother of Lois Kampman and the late Walter Davis and Margaret Hagaman. Norman was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran and spent many of his adult years in service to others. He was ordained as a Deacon for the Catholic Church in 1984 and was inducted into the Lake County Hall of Fame in 2000 acknowledging his work as a volunteer chaplain at the Lake County Jail and for the State of Ohio for Death Row inmates. He was a past Outreach Director of the St. Gabriel Food Bank and was active in several service organizations including the VFW in Fairport Harbor, the Painesville Elks, the Knights of Columbus and St. Vincent de Paul Society. He had a passion for genealogy and spent many hours helping others trace their family trees. He passed away August 3, 2026. Visitation Friday, August 7th, 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. with service immediately following at the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS RD. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to a charity of your choice.
