PATRICIA BURKE COUGHLIN, age 81 passed peacefully into the Abundance of Infinity while she was at home surrounded by her devoted family. She was the soul mate, lover, BFF and wife of Michael Coughlin for over 61 years.

Pat gave birth to five sons: James (deceased), Dan (Cindy), Marty, John (Teresa) and Tim (Liz). She loved being a mom and loved her boys unconditionally, beyond measure.

She was immensely proud of her grandchildren, Katherine, Patrick, William, Sean and James. They brought much joy into her life and she supported them in all their endeavors.

Her deep and abiding faith led her to a life of service for the less fortunate. She was a founding member and volunteer at the St. Patrick Hunger Center for over 30 years.

A staunch advocate for peace and justice, she marched, petitioned, prayed and worked tirelessly for an end to all forms of violence. She was a founding member of the Cleveland Chapter of Pax Christi, USA. As a mediator in her neighborhood development association she taught conflict resolution and alternatives to violence.

Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR. AT PURITAS, FRIDAY 4-7 P.M. WHERE FACE MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED AND SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE OBSERVED.

The family is planning to have a proper celebration of Pat's incredible life sometime in the future (post Covid). There will be a Funeral Mass with her beloved Community of St. Peter, her ashes will be interred in the family plot at Holy Cross Cemetery. Then there will be a party where we can share memories of our life with this wonderful lady. All are welcome.
