PATRICIA RUTH LANGE, age 83. She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Martha (nee Wojnowski); two infant brothers; and her brother James Lange. She is survived by her brother William (Kathleen, dec.), nephew Brett (Amy), niece Laura, great niece and nephews: Stephanie, Ethan Davis, and Benjamin; and her dear friend of fifty years, Janet Amer. Patricia spent her working years in Catholic secondary education serving as teacher and administrator, first as Sister Mary John Anthony, S.N.D. and later as a lay woman. Many students considered her to be a master teacher and have maintained friendly contact years later. Pat taught chemistry, math and theology at St. Peter, St. Michael, Our Lady of Lourdes, Erieview and Cleveland Central Catholic High School. She served as principal at St. Peter and Erieview. Pat loved people and lively conversation. She reveled in travel, particularly, Cape Cod, Alaska and the Canadian Rockies. She was an inveterate reader of fiction and modern theology. She was kind and generous and interested in her church, family and friends. Pat passed unexpectedly of heart failure on July 9, 2015.
