PATRICIA A. PETO (nee Mullen), age 84, passed away peacefully while surrounded by loved ones on December 24, 2025. Loving mother of Jeff (Dave), Jim (Diana), Sharon Caroscio (Joe) and Susan Starkey (Brian).Dear grandmother of Ashley Jude (Andrew), Nathan Foster, Cassidy Simon (Patrick), Justin Rearick, Steven Foster, Michael Caroscio and Alex Starkey. Proud great-grandmother of Aiden, Carlee, Westley, Drew and Myles.Loving sister and best friend of Mary Ann Faust. Dear sister-in-law of the late, Joseph Faust. Aunt and Great Aunt to many cherished nieces and nephews. Patricia loved spending time with family and friends. She treasured sleepovers at her daughters’ homes and movie nights at her apartment with her daughter Sharon. Time spent with her grandchildren always brought laughter, and they never failed to entertain her. She adored her great-grandchildren and smiled ear to ear whenever she was with them. Her granddogs also held a special place in her heart, whether visiting with them in person or admiring their photos on her digital frame, which she often watched for hours at a time. Wednesdays held a special place in her heart, shared faithfully with her dear sister and best friend—a cherished tradition that will never be the same. She expressed her love through her hands, creating countless crocheted afghans and quilts that now wrap her family in warmth and memory. Family learned to be careful what they admired or mentioned in passing, because before long she would be sewing or crocheting her own version—always made with love. Patricia was a wonderful cook and loved to bake, often saying, ‘I found this recipe I want to try.’Most importantly, she was a mother who taught her family the value of tradition, patience, love, and forgiveness. Funeral Service Monday, December 29, at 1:30 P.M. in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS where friends may call MONDAY 12:30 P.M. UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Southwest Health Foundation 18697 Bagley Rd., C-105Middleburg Heights, OH 44130440-816-6713.
