With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Patrick Reed Curry, who left us on February 19, 2025, at the age of 90.

Patrick was known for his quick wit, infectious laugh, and an uncanny ability to deliver both wise and irreverent remarks—often at just the right (or wrong) moment. His Irish charm and humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Patrick was the beloved son of Thomas and Catherine (Colbert) Curry. He attended Cathedral Latin High School and John Carroll University. He went on to serve honorably in the United States Navy from 1956 to 1962. He was an active parishioner and coach at St. Christopher parish in Rocky River, Ohio.

Above all, Patrick cherished his family. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 67 years, Joan (nee Bauer), who was his greatest love and lifelong partner. He is also survived by his children: Matthew, Neil (Nancy Shaw), Ann Kozak (Chris), and Martin (Katie); his grandchildren, Emily and Andrew Kozak, Nathan, Natalie and Colleen Curry; and his sister, Therese Hohman. He was preceded in death by his sister, Maureen Kelly.
