PATRICK V. DEL VECCHIO, age 73, of Fort Pierce, Florida, formerly of Westlake, OH, passed away February 16, 2020 at Treasure Coast Hospice surrounded by his family. He was born on March 10, 1946 to Joseph and Maria Del Vecchio in Cerrto Sannita, Italy. Patrick was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a decorated medal recipient of 2 bronze stars. Patrick, a railroad engineer, was an avid watch collector.
Patrick is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Susan Louise Elliott Del Vecchio; children, Shannon Mason (Roy), James Sheahen (Clarissa), Colleen Grey (Russ) Kristen Larson (Bryan); grandchildren, Kyley, BreeAnne, MacKenzie, Kyle, Scott; great grandchildren, Donovan, Max, Madison, Kholman, Evelynne, Leighton; brother, Bruno Del Vecchio (Nancy); cousin, Italo and many loving nieces and nephews.
Memorial Mass on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at St. John Bosco, 6480 Pearl Rd., Parma Heights, Ohio, 44130, at 9:30 am. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS RD., FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 7-9 P.M.
In 2014, Patrick was a grateful lung transplant recipient. Please consider organ, tissue, and eye donation.
