It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick John Kilbane (Cleveland, Ohio) who unexpectedly passed away on March 28, 2020 at the age of 28. Cherished son of John Kilbane (Monica) and Stephanie (nee Shuga) Defelicibus (Robert). Loving brother of Grace, Seamus and Liam. Preceded in death by his grandparents Joanne (nee Golden) and Jack Kilbane, and Louise (nee Gedeon) and William Shuga. He will be deeply missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended relatives, friends, coworkers, and his four-legged children, Bernie and Baby Girl.

Pat went to grade school at Our Lady of Angels, graduated from Rocky River High School and attended Ohio University. He was an Apprentice in IBEW Local 38. Pat was a hard worker with an eye for detail who showed a natural talent for his trade.

He was also a smart, caring and quick-witted young man who put the needs of others before his own; the type of person who wouldn't hesitate to give you the shirt off his back or strike up a conversation with a perfect stranger. Pat always went out of his way to make people smile. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and catching up with his loved ones, but was especially happy in the company of his two dogs.

He was grateful for second chances and filled with hope that living might be a little easier one day, as he made significant strides towards living the life he always deserved. Pat was a fighting heart who fought for who and what he loved, including the mutual understanding and acceptance of others. Because he so often demonstrated his affection and appreciation of family and friends with regular phone calls, we ask that now, more than ever, you too reach out to your loved ones. In Pat's own words, "Sometimes we all just need a little reminder."

His generous spirit will live on in all the people he loved.

Memorial Mass Saturday, March 26, St. Patrick Church (West Park) at 1:00 P.M.
