PATRICK A. WALSH, age 92, native of Birkenhead, Liverpool, England, beloved husband of 61 years to the late Catherine (nee Gallagher) (native of Ashleam, Co. Mayo, Ireland); loving father of Mary Jo Kelley (William), Catherine Patton (Brian) and Patrick Walsh (Bernadette); cherished Papa of Shannon Kelley (Jason Quinlan), Colleen McGreevey (Jesse), Maura and Tara Kelley (Dee Hampton), Caitlin Walsh (Eric Schaefer), Patrick, Sean and Thomas Walsh (Caroline Enwright) and Grace Anne Patton; Papa to four great-grandchildren:  William and Benjamin McGreevey, Shiloh Hampton and Violet Quinlan; son of the late Mary (nee Doherty) (native of Donegal, Ireland) and Patrick Walsh (native of Bohola, Co. Mayo, Ireland); brother of Josie Grady (John) (both deceased), Gertie Barber (David) (both deceased), Kathleen Walsh, John Walsh (Kathleen), and Mickey Walsh (Maureen, deceased); brother-in-law of Anna Gallagher, Mary McDermott (Michael) (both deceased), Bridget Galloway (James) (both deceased), Michael Gallagher (deceased) (Nora), Joseph Gallagher (Bridget, deceased), James Gallagher (Mary Jo), and Patrick and Tony Gallagher (both deceased); uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend of many.  Patrick emigrated from England to New York in 1957.  He married the love of his life, Catherine, in November of 1958.  They settled in Brooklyn, NY where they raised their children.  Patrick worked at CitiBank retiring as an assistant vice president after 35 years.  He was active in the parish council and was an usher at St. Ephrem Church in Brooklyn.  Patrick and Catherine retired in North Olmsted in 1992.  They were both members of The Church of St. Clarence, the West Side Irish American Club and the Forever Young Club.  Patrick enjoyed playing golf, bowling, reading and following sports.  Passed away at home surrounded by his family October 3, 2022.  Funeral Mass Friday, October 7, The Church of St. Clarence (30106 Lorain Rd.) at 10 A.M.  Interment St. Joseph Cemetery (Avon).  Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD.
