PAUL E. GURA ,age 85, went home to his heavenly father on January 15, 2026, appropriately, on the Saint Day for his namesake, St. Paul of Thebes. Cherished husband and best friend of Nancy Gura (nee Singler); loving father of Lee Mylonas (Chris), Brian Gura (Melissa) and Laura Gura (Paul Roan); adored grandfather of Nicholas (Bridget), Morgan, and Alyssa Mylonas; Jake and Paige Gura; Kaitlyn (Corey Cody) and Christopher Roan; uncle of Eric Hale, Susan Farr (George), Richard (late Melody) and Kenneth (Susan) Gura; brother-in-law to Elizabeth Hale. Preceded in death by his brother, Francis William (Bill) Gura, Jr. and his parents, Helen (nee Eastman) and Frank Gura.

Paul loved spending time with Nancy and their family. They frequently took roads trips, and especially enjoyed Amish Country. Paul’s silly and kind disposition enabled him to make many friends everywhere! He especially enjoyed meeting with other amputees and helping them through their healing process. Paul had many great stories through the years that depicts the wonderful, caring and determined man he was. We hope you can join us to celebrate a life well lived, for a man that was so very loved!!

Funeral Mass SATURDAY, JANUARY 31, St. Richard Church (26855 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted) at 10 A.M. Private interment. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS RD., FRIDAY, JANUARY 30, 4 P.M. - 6 P.M.
