PAUL A. LASSITER, age 87. Beloved husband of 64 years to Elaine (nee Plichta); father of Paul William (Julia); brother of the late Bill, Henry and Patricia; uncle of  many. He will be missed by his 2 fur babies Mitzie and Grady. Passed away September 7, 2022.

Paul proudly served in the US Coast Guard in Alaska and in the Great Lakes.  He retired from Union Carbide / Eveready after 39 years.

Funeral Mass Monday, September 12, St. Mary Church (320 Middle Ave. Elyria) at 10:00 AM. where friends may call from 9:00 AM. until time of Mass. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Friendship APL of Lorain County, 8303 Murray Ridge Road, Elyria, OH  44035 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
