PHYLLIS J. BUMM (nee Martin), age 88, beloved wife of the late Robert G.; loving mother of Cyndee Shirk (Tim), Carolyn Maloney (Richard) and twin sons, Mike (Delynn) and Rob (Meghan); proud grandmother of Keegan, Meghann, Brendan, Marian, Rachel, Lauren, Sophia, Eric, Lester and Gordon; great-grandmother of Quinn, Jack, Fox, Max and Sam; sister of the late Nancy Martin-Hoecker and V. Ben Martin, Jr.; aunt and great-aunt of many. Passed away surrounded by her family November 4, 2021.  Funeral Mass Monday, November 8, St. Brendan Church (4242 Brendan Lane, North Olmsted) at 12:30 P.M.  The Mass will be livestreamed on the Chambers Funeral Homes Facebook page (see link below).  Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. Phyllis was an enthusiastic person whether she was talking about her family or cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes. She was very passionate about her family and Cleveland sports. She was a woman of strong faith and, donned in her choir robe, loved singing during the celebration of mass. One of her greatest assets was just being engaged with her family, her friends and her Church, St. Brendan's. Her favorite pastimes were playing bridge, golf, bowling, book club, bible study and bragging about her grandkids and great grandkids. Phyllis will be missed by so many but never forgotten, which speaks loudly about what a genuine, loving person she was. 2 Timothy 4:7 wraps up Phyllis's life perfectly, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." God definitely congratulated her at the finish line.
