PRESTON A. SYMON, age 102. Beloved husband of 57 years to the love of his life the late Olga (nee Duranko); son of the late Bertha (nee Hill) and Joseph Symon; loving father of Dennis (Angel); proud grandfather of Michael (Liz) and Nicole Westinghouse (Louis); dear great-grandfather of Kyle Sanderson (Krista), Patrick Westinghouse (deceased), Nathan Westinghouse and Blake Westinghouse; great-great-grandfather of Emmerson Sanderson; brother of James (deceased), William (deceased), Francis (deceased), John (deceased), Joseph (Marge), Robert (Emma, deceased) and Theodore (Blanche); uncle and friend of many.

Preston was a WWII Army Veteran who was recipient of the Purple Heart and three bronze stars. He was an avid bowler and golfer. He volunteered for bingo at St. Mary Magdalene Church.

Passed away May 7, 2020. Private services for family. Interment Resthaven Memory Gardens.  In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Mary Magdalene Byzantine Church, 5390 W. 220nd St. Fairview Park, OH 44126.
