RALPH A. JACKO, 86, of North Olmsted, Ohio, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022.  He was the beloved husband of 63 years to Marlene Jacko (nee Piper); loving father of Mark Jacko (Kelly), Stephen Jacko, Denise Munguía (Ricardo), and Jason Jacko (Beth); dear grandfather of 11; great-grandfather of 5; brother of the late Victor Eugene Jacko (Anne, deceased), the late Dr. Carol Jacko, and James Jacko (Donna); son of the late Julius Jacko and Wanda Jacko (nee Wozniak).

Ralph was born in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from West Tech High School in 1954. Immediately after high school, he began a four-year apprenticeship at NASA, where he then worked as a research mechanic for over 50 years at Plum Brook Station and NASA Glenn Research Center.  Ralph was an active member of the Berea Elks Lodge for 20 years.  Affectionately known as "Grumpa", Ralph enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, golfing, and watching his children and grandchildren race.  Most notably, Ralph enjoyed spending time with his many dear friends who he welcomed as family.  He was incredibly generous with his time and knowledge when anyone had a project.  His presence is missed, but his spirit lives on in those who love him.
