RHODA MAE SMITH (nee Richards), age 77, passed away unexpectedly at Fairview Hospital, Kemper Unit on April 25, 2017.  Beloved mother of Sandra Scheuering-Beauclair (Michael), Gigi Smith and Cricket Rerko (Joseph); loving grandmother of Mathew Beauclair, Brad Beauclair, Morgan Scholz, Joey Rerko, and Cameron Rerko; great-grandmother of Victoria Beauclair; daughter of the late Pearl (nee Stollings) and Crockett Richards; sister of Chalice Butcher (deceased), Minerva Tomblin-Richards (deceased) Kathleen Workman, Orville Richards (deceased), and Jesse Stollings; friend and former wife of the late George Scheuering and Seymour Smith. Born in Logan, West Virginia on November 20, 1939, Rhoda was an avid reader and volunteer for many years at the Monday Night Meal at St. Malachi Parish. Rhoda donated her body to Case Western Medical School.   A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017, at Bain Cabin (21071 N. Park Dr., Fairview Park, OH 44126)  from 12 P.M. to 3 P.M.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to your favorite charity.
