RICHARD L. BROWN, age 76, of Olmsted Twp., passed away peacefully December 19, 2020, surrounded by those closest to him; "his people". He was born February 3, 1944, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late George D. and Geraldine Brown (née Frederick). Rich honorably served in the US Navy on the USS Hunley from 1963-1965.  He was a Teamsters Local 407 retiree, working 32 years and receiving numerous driver safety awards.  He was a proud Veteran and a devoted Union Steward. Rich always prioritized his family and their well-being, acting as a devoted husband, father, Papa, and brother. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 56 years, Rosemary (née Green), and his loving children Denise, Joseph (Stacy), and Christopher (Deitri). He was the most loving Papa to Katelynn, Samantha, Shannon, Allyson, Jackson, Dylan, Andrew, Joshua, and Logan. Cherished brother of Marsha (Robert) Koza, Georgeann (George) Mahon, Kevin (Kathy) Brown, Rebecca (George Patrick) Helbig, Storm (Martin) Sammon, Gerald Brown and the following deceased: Lawrence Brown, James Brown, Daniel Brown, Doralyn Brown, and James J. Green, Sr. He was a dear and respected Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He knew no stranger and was loved by many. If Rich counted you as a friend, you had a friend for life. A celebration of Rich's life will be held at a later date. And in his own words: "Hat up, and put it in the wind".
