RITA M. ACKERMAN (nee Calvey), age 91; beloved wife of the late Robert F.; loving mother of Barbara and Mary Jo Simmerly (Tim); proud grandma of Tim Simmerly (Emily), Erin Simmerly and Bryan Simmerly (Emily); dear "GG" of Mary Grace, Ella, Molly, Timmy, Juliette, Sebastian, Nora and Mae Calvey; daughter of the late Mary Agnes (nee Sullivan) and Edward Calvey; sister of Margaret Gallagher and the late Edward Calvey and Robert Calvey; dear aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend of many. Passed away January 16, 2021. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, there will be no visitation.  Relatives and friends are invited to meet for her Funeral Mass Saturday, January 23, St. Angela Merici Church (20970 Lorain Rd. Fairview Park) at 11:30 A.M. (where social distancing will be observed and face masks required).  The Funeral Mass will be livestreamed on the Chambers Funeral Homes Facebook page.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
