ROBERT L. "BOB" WEISBARTH, age 87, beloved husband of the late Colletta F. (nee Komora); loving father of Gerald (Annemarie), John (Terri), Dan, Mike (Kathy), Patty Carney (Dave) and Chrissy May (T.J.); proud grandfather of 17 and great-grandfather of 14; brother of Walter (Dorothy) (both deceased), Charles (Margrette) (both deceased), Edward (Alice) (both deceased), Joseph (Sarah, deceased) and William (Janice); uncle and great-uncle of many.  U.S. Army veteran.  Bob was born in 1934 in Cleveland, OH. He graduated from Fairview Park High School, playing basketball and football. Bob was very active in St. Brendan Parish for years in Holy Name, Choir, Bingo and Athletic Boosters.  He was always seen coaching, umpiring, raking fields, or working with sporting equipment for the many sports teams at the church. He enjoyed time creating family memories at the family cottage on Pleasant Hill Lake. He was known in the neighborhood for the annual backyard lightened ice rink. He will best be remembered for bone crunching handshakes and spine adjusting hugs. Passed away peacefully November 27, 2021.  Funeral Mass Tuesday, November 30, St. Brendan Church (4242 Brendan Lane, North Olmsted  44070) at 10 A.M.  Interment Sunset Memorial Park.  Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS RD., MONDAY 4-7 P.M.  Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Brendan Church.
