ROBERT W. THRASHER II, beloved husband of 39 years to Diane (nee Kasson) (formerly Connare); father of Robert W. Thrasher III (Jennifer), Debra Yantek (Andrew), and Donald (Sonja); stepfather of Kathleen Sammon; former father-in-law of Margaret Thrasher; grandfather of Jessica, Jeanne Miller (JC), Kate Yantek, Dan Sammon, Megan (Mark), Clay Yantek (Alana), Michael Sammon, and Shannon; step-grandfather of Heather Romano and Jamie Romano; great-grandfather of Leo, Jillian, and Jackson; former husband of Anne Phelps.  A graduate of Denison University, Bob was employed by the The Plain Dealer for 35 years where he was a Circulation Director and retired as Director of Services.  He loved fishing and was a former member of the Rockwell Springs Trout Club.  He held season tickets to the Cleveland Browns for 30 years giving them up the year before they moved.  Bob was a member and past president of the OCMA - Ohio Circulation Managers Association.  He was also a member of the International Circulation Managers Association.  Passed away January 3, 2018.  Funeral Mass Tuesday, January 9, St. Bernadette Church (2256 Clague Rd., Westlake) at 10 A.M.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.  Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD.
