ROBERT V. KARLAK

Robert (Bob) Vincent Karlak, 90, of Cleveland, OH died Sunday May 17, 2026, surrounded by family at the Renaissance Retirement Campus Health Center.

Bob, only son to Vincent and Susan (nee Marchok); Loving husband to late Margaret (Marge) (nee Edelinsky); Devoted father to Vincent, Laura (deceased), Jeffery, Brian, Karen; Adoring grandfather to Matt, Rob, Samantha, Olivia, Rachel, Priscilla, & David. Great grandfather to Colin, Claire, Wren, Phoebe, Josephine, Amelia; Tremendous uncle, friend to many, and late-life companion to Mary Lee.

Respected Veteran of the United States Marines Corps Paratroopers, Honorably Discharged. Retired at 52 from an enriching career in accounting. Enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, and appreciating the Great Lake Erie. Avid nature lover and supporter of the Cleveland Metro Parks. Local legend of Cleveland Huff-N-Puffers Senior Softball league, Including 2006 Man of the Year. Loyal fan of the Cleveland Indians, Cavaliers, and Browns. Dedicated his free time to volunteering for the U.S. Census Bureau. Loved traveling with his wife to explore new places.

Military honors will be performed Friday, May 29, at 6:00 P.M. in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR. AT PURITAS, where friends may call FRIDAY, MAY 29, 4:00 P.M. UNTIL TIME OF HONORS.
