ROLAND PHILLIPS FRENCH, age 75. Beloved husband of 52 years to Annemarie (nee Joiner); loving father of Mary Mansfield (Roy), Andrea Greene (Wesley) and Brian (Melissa Edsall); brother of Bruce French (Beverly), June Harness (the late Clairborne), Elaine Wilkinson (Tom) and the late Walden; uncle and friend of many.

Roland was a proud Marine Corps. Veteran who received the Presidential Unit Citation. He was an avid golfer with his wife Annemarie.  He was a Tenor in the Westshore Unitarian Universalist Church Choir in Rocky River, OH.

Passed away October 1, 2023. Memorial Service Thursday, October 5, at 7:00 PM. in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS where friends may call 5:00 PM. UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE. Inurnment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
