IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ronald E.
Fiedler
May 30, 1943 – July 5, 2021
RONALD EDWARD FIEDLER, left this world suddenly on Monday, July 5, 2021, at the age of 78. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Carolyn (Mielnik) Fiedler, daughter Melissa Fiedler, daughter and son-in-law Jeanette (Fiedler) Botsch and Horst Botsch, grandchildren, Alexander Habyl, Elizabeth (Ella) Habyl, Riley Habyl-Nguyen and her husband Nathan Nguyen, bonus grand-children Zachary, Jacob and Grace Botsch as well as his sister Rita (Fiedler) Prudic and brother-in-law Anthony Prudic and his niece Kate. He was preceded in death by his parents Ruth (Schroeder) Fiedler and A. Edward Fiedler.
He was a member of the Good Guys Street Rod Association and the National Street Rod Association and a lifetime member of the National Model Railroad Association. His love of all-things street rods was well known, and he would often attend community "cruise-ins" with his beloved 1940 Chevy. If he could have been buried in it – he would have been.
Ron, a Vietnam Veteran, will be laid to rest with military honors at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at 10:15 am. The service will be followed by a Celebration of Life open house at the VFW Hall located at 36950 Mills Rd, Avon, Ohio, from 5-8 pm (friends and family are invited to join us in remembering Ron during this time).
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Kamm's Cat Guardians (kcguardians.org) in his honor.
