Ron attended St. Colman's Grade school and graduated from West High School. He met his future wife of 60 years at Greenwood Playground in Cleveland when he was 15. They loved to travel together and had some very memorable trips including 11 cruises, Hawaii, and Las Vegas where they once saw Elvis perform live. He was a proud member of the Carpenters Union local 435 for nearly 40 years and was awarded the prestigious 50-year lifelong Honorary Gold Membership card. Ron mostly worked for Cleveland Cement where he was considered to be one of the best in the trade. Some of the projects for which he was most proud were Key Tower, the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame, and the Detroit-Superior Bridge. Ron enjoyed working in his yard and would proudly say his yard was the best in the neighborhood. His favorite hobbies included golfing, woodcarving and adding to his childhood train that remains setup in his home. Ron was a devout Christian who rarely missed Mass. He was an active member at St. Adalbert's parish where he was an usher and counted money. But above all, Ron was a devoted husband, father, and papa. His family meant everything to him. He loved his two children unconditionally. He was so proud of his two grandchildren who brought so much joy to his life. He touched so many lives and hearts over the years. He was everyone's favorite Uncle and he enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
He passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family.
