ROSE COSMA, age 90, passed away on April 3, 2012 due to heart failure and complications of diabetes. Rose was born on January 23, 1922 in Nadrag, Romania, the first of two daughters born to the late Joseph and Ethel Czenkner. She immigrated to this country with her parents in 1923. Rose grew up in Cleveland and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1940. She married Raymond Edward Cosma, October 12, 1946. Beloved mother and friend, Rose is survived by her children, Raymond Edward (Linda) Cosma, Jr. of Lorain, Mary Rose Gorman of Centennial, CO., Catherine Loesch (Dave) of Greeley, CO, six grandchildren: John R. Cosma, Julia Barnes (Amiel), Kevin Loesch, Daniel Loesch, Brian Gorman, Jeremy Gorman and great-grandson Teddy Wells; her sister Helen Jasko of Rocky River as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ray of nearly 50 years, son Rob, son-in-law Paul Gorman and grandson Nathan Paul Gorman. Rose worked at the Bomber Plant during WWII as a mail carrier. She was a member of St. Patrick Church West Park for nearly 80 years. She was active in the Altar and Rosary Society, the choir and the ever popular Drama Club for many years. Rose was a loving mom to neighborhood kids and friends of her children. She loved music and spent her last courageous years singing and encouraging friends at Manor Care Nursing Home in Cleveland. Funeral Mass Wednesday April 11 St. Bridget of Kildare Church (5620 Hauserman Rd.) at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR.
