ROSE MARIE LAVELLE (nee Ferrazzano) passed away on December 30, 2022 from Alzheimers disease. She is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Jim Lavelle, her daughter Lynne, her son Patrick and her granddaughter Felicia. She is survived by her daughters, Michelle Lavelle and Denise Zavagno (David) and beloved grandchildren Michael, Katharine, Richie, Christina, Kelly, and Brittany, her sisters-in-law Nancy and RoseMarie Lavelle and many nieces and nephews.

Rose was born and raised in Pittsburgh. After attending St. Rosalia High School in Greenfield she graduated from Robert Morris School of Business, and enjoyed a career at MGM Studios in Pittsburgh as an executive assistant. She became a loyal Clevelander in 1964 when Jim was recruited by NASA.

No matter where she was, she had a great talent for making friends. Warm and approachable, Rose cultured a great love and curiosity for others who were drawn to her openness, her panache for fun, and her mischievous sense of humor.  She was a cancer survivor of over 32 years. Her positivity and strength made her an inspiration for those who knew her, and for those she served as a volunteer breast cancer patient advocate. Her 49-year marriage to Jim was a beautiful and unshakable love story. Their legacy of love lives on in the hearts of their family and friends.

Funeral Mass Tuesday, January 3, 2023, The Church of St. Clarence (30106 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted) at 10 A.M. where the family will receive friends ONE HOUR PRIOR TO MASS.   Private interment Sunset Memorial Park.
