RUSSELL JOHN MUZYCZKA, JR. passed away March 22, 2025. John was born March 6, 1968. He attended Wadsworth High School and graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1991 with a degree in Business.
John was a man of faith and family. Everyone he encountered was a friend, and to be his friend, you were his family. He and the love of his life Julie, have two sons, Russell (Jack) and Maxwell. One with us on earth and one in heaven is how he explained it to everyone. Together they enjoyed many adventures be it camping, ski trips or beach vacations, especially in Key West, FL.
John brought his strong work ethic to the field of sales, starting with State Chemical Manufacturing right out of school. The past 24 years specifically spent in brokering plastics processing equipment. In 2009 he began Stopol Equipment Sales. As President and CEO of Stopol Equipment Sales, John took a company from brokering equipment and transformed it into his continuing vision of a business designed to meet all the needs of his customers. More importantly, he built the family of Stopol Equipment Sales. His leadership qualities and mentorship were unmatched.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Russell John and Nancy Muzyczka, and his dear son, Maxwell. He will be forever missed by his devoted wife and best friend, Julie (Eyerman), and loving son Jack, as well as his sisters Tanya Muzyczka and Lisa Nelsen (Victor). He was a beloved uncle, brother-in-law, nephew, cousin and friend to all.
John was generous with his time and willingness to help anyone in need at a moment's notice. He will be remembered by all who love him for his laughter, never-ending pranks, inside jokes, knowledge and love of music, and his unofficial license in amateur pyrotechnics.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 3-7 P.M. at the WAITE AND SON FUNERAL HOME, BRUNSWICK CHAPEL, 3300 CENTER RD., BRUNSWICK, OH 44212. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, March 28, at 12 Noon at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Rd., Brunswick, OH (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). . Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Avon, OH. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Maxwell Muzyczka Memorial Scholarship c/o The Highland Foundation, 3880 Ridge Rd., Medina, OH 44256.
