RUTH E. KADOW, age 101.  Loving daughter of the late Clara (nee Kobabe) and Walter Kadow; sister of Raymond Kadow (Betty) (both deceased); aunt of Kathleen Becker (William) of MD; great aunt of Kevin Welkos (Mary Beth) and Jeffrey Welkos (deceased); great-great aunt of Nathaniel Welkos; longtime friend of Mary Patricia Chambers.

Ruth was a graduate of the Berea Schools, Kent State University and the University of Arizona.  She taught for 30 years in the Marion, Medina and Parma schools as well as Padua Franciscan High School. She was an Associate Professor at Lorain County Community College for 8 years  and a life member of NCA and OEA.

Ruth enjoyed traveling, especially to Arizona in conjunction with her studies.  She loved books, and enjoyed genealogy, which was her hobby for over 70 years.  With the help of other family genealogists, she was able to trace her family back to the Mayflower.

Passed away May 25, 2022. Funeral Service Thursday, June 2, at 11:00 AM in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD. AT STEARNS. Entombment Sunset Memorial Park.
