RUTH M. ZIMMER (nee Digney), age 93, beloved wife of 75 years to the late Lloyd J.; devoted mother of David (Luisa), Gregory (deceased), Christopher, Mary Swardell, Paul (Patti) and John (Peg); best Gram to Nicole Zimmer and Stephen Swardell, Jr. (Danielle); great-grandmother of Ava; daughter of the late Ruth C. (nee Reagan) and John J. Digney; loving sister of the late John F. Digney (Jean); beloved sister-in-law of Bernard Zimmer (Margaret) (both deceased) and Leo "Skip" Weithman (deceased) (Beverly); cherished and loving niece of the late Effie Weir and cherished aunt and dear friend of many.  Special thanks to Mr. & Mrs. Zimmer's primary care physician, Dr. Gasan Nemr, for his outstanding care.  Passed away February 27, 2024.  Relatives and friends are invited to meet for her Memorial Mass Friday, May 24, St. Mel Church (14436 Triskett Rd., Cleveland, OH  44111) at 11 A.M.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Monastery of the Poor Clares, 3501 Rocky River Dr., Cleveland, OH 44111, or the charity of your choice.
