SANDRA JEAN KASKEY (nee Hawley) age 88, of Berea, Ohio passed away on October 6, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born, April 12, 1937, to the late William Hawley Jr and Consuela (nee Rock) in Youngstown, Ohio. Later, during High School, her family moved to Berea where she lived for the rest of her life.

Sandy is survived by her daughter, Linda Kostelnik (John-deceased), sons Casey Kaskey (Holly) and Chris Kaskey (Victoria); grandchildren, Christy Gabler (Jeremy), Lindsay Wilkins (Nick), Abigail Arnold (Kevin); great-grandchildren, Jesse, Jacob, Aoife and Maebh; brother Jim Hawley (Sally-deceased) and many nieces and nephews,

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Stanley "Chuck" Kaskey Jr, her parents, William and Consuela Hawley and brother William Hawley III.

As a long-time resident of Berea, Sandy was a "Berea Brave" through and through. Not only was she a graduate of Berea High, but she also worked at Berea High School where she was a staff favorite of the students for over 20 years. Sandy had a love of the Arts; she loved music and dancing, painting, ceramics, going to the theater and even participated in several theater productions herself! Sandy was an active member of the Red Hat Society and volunteered a great deal at her church, First Lutheran Church Strongsville. Sandy was always known as a great hostess, you never walked in her home without being offered a huge smile, a warm hug and a drink! Even at the end, she was always asking people what she could get them!

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 11:30 AM in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of BEREA, 86 ADALBERT ST. OFF FRONT ST. (LOCATED IN THE POLISH VILLAGE HISTORIC DISTRICT) with a luncheon to follow.
