SANDRA LEE CARPENTER PEACO, of North Olmsted, Ohio, passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She was born on July 2, 1961, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Mildred (nee Przyborowski) and Del Carpenter.

Sandy was the quiet one of five sisters — soft-spoken, kind, and steady. She carried herself with dignity and grace, never needing attention to make an impact. She showed up for the people she loved — always — with humility, compassion, and unwavering presence.

She lived just minutes from her parents her entire life and spent years visiting them on her lunch breaks. When they became ill, she was by their side helping, supporting, and making sure they were cared for in every way she could. She also cared for her sister Cynthia during her illness, with the same quiet strength that defined how she lived.

Sandy was the proud mother of Shannon Peaco Gongwer and Pam Peaco, and a loving grandma to Jonathan, Jeremy, Audrey, and Julia. Her time with her girls and grandchildren meant everything to her. She looked forward to getting ready for the school day each morning with Julia, and attending Jeremy's choir concerts brought her so much joy. She loved thrifting at local shops or watching horror movies with Audrey. She was so proud to see Jonathan graduate from high school this past May. Each grandchild had a special place in her heart, and they all knew how deeply she cared.

She found joy in the simple things. Weekend trips with her sisters, local festivals, live music, craft shows, and spending time with family. Her sisters, Debbie Mellott (Tom), Darlene McDevitt, and Cathyrn Dowling (Tom) were a constant in her life, as was her late sister Cynthia. Sandy shared a lifelong friendship with Debbie Kearny that spanned more than 56 years. They grew up next door to each other, graduated high school together, raised families side by side, and supported each other through every chapter of life. That friendship was one of the cornerstones of Sandy's life, not just a best friend, but truly family.

She was a proud aunt to many nieces and nephews who always felt her steady, loving presence.

Sandy is also survived by her ex-husband and the father of her children, Glenn Peaco, who remained a part of her life through the family they shared.

She worked as a legal secretary for Richard Dunson at Dunson and Dunson Law Firm for 28 years. She was reliable and dedicated. She took pride in her work and loved her job.

Sandy lived with quiet strength. She didn't seek praise, but gave her love through actions, consistency, and care. She will be missed more than words can say — not just for what she did, but for who she was.

Her memory lives on in her daughters, grandchildren, sisters, nieces, nephews, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
