SCOTT R. BORCHARDT (age 31) Berea Police Officer, Badge #29. Beloved husband of Julia (nee Estergall); dear son of Marilyn (nee Myers) and the late Richard A.; brother of Curtis (Karen Ispan) of Pataskala, OH, and Beth Martin (Dale) of Bellevue, OH; grandson of LaDonna Borchardt Myers and the late Richard C. Borchardt and the late Vinton and Elizabeth Myers; dear uncle of Hunter, Ashton, Jackson, Kelly, Ryan, Kayla and Gregory; nephew of Janice Todd (Mike), Nancy Amburn, Jan Smith, Julie Cloud (Phil)and the late Pierre Amburn, Chuck Smith and William Borchardt; son-in-law of Mary (nee McNamara) and Greg Estergall; brother-in-law of Guy (Suzann), Gary (Lisa), Michael (Eileen), Daniel (Jane), Cathy and Lance (Tess).  Scott was devoted to the residents of the City of Berea and a friend to his fellow officers with the Berea Police Department.  He graduated from Bellevue High School in 2004 and Baldwin Wallace University in 2008.  Scott graduated Peace Officer Basic Training Academy at Cuyahoga Community College in 2015 and was a personal fitness trainer and was also employed as a real estate agent for Howard Hanna Real Estate in Strongsville.  Passed away unexpectedly August 14, 2017.  Funeral Mass Friday, August 18, Our Lady of Angels Church (3644 Rocky River Drive) at 10 A.M. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH).  Interment 11 A.M. Saturday, Bellevue Catholic Cemetery, Bellevue, OH. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of NORTH OLMSTED, 29150 LORAIN RD.
